Welcome

A community bank since 1917, Chippewa Valley Bank continually strives to remain closely tied to the communities we serve. Our goal is to understand your unique needs and find a solution that will enhance your financial well-being. We also understand that as our lives have evolved into a lifestyle of too many tasks and not enough time, you need a bank that makes it easy for you to do business with.

That’s why we are completely focused on continuing to find ways to make your banking experience efficient, yet rewarding, and help you save some of that precious time. After many hours of research and evaluating solutions, we are proud to have put together a very proficient and secure set of delivery services. We offer you time saving services such as Phone Banking, Online Banking and Bill Pay.

We understand that there are many options for your financial needs. We pride ourselves in local decision making, and specializing in personal service that you, as our customers, so rightfully deserve. We understand, most importantly, the value of a good relationship. We make it a point to get to know you and allow you to get to know us as well. For all of your banking needs, we promise to always treat you as a friend of ours, not just an account number.

Community involvement remains one of our top priorities. The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) previously assigned Chippewa Valley Bank a rating of “OUTSTANDING” in our bank’s commitment to the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA). This “OUTSTANDING” rating continues. Additionally, Chippewa Valley Bank has been the recipient of many “Business of the Year” awards by many of the communities that we serve in. We have also been recognized and rewarded by state organizations for making conspicuous and effective progress in achieving equal housing opportunities for low-income and minority people.

Through donations, education, and community events, Chippewa Valley Bank continues to make a positive impact within the community. We believe in giving back to those who give so much to us. This is what has enabled us to be what we are today; a “COMMUNITY BANK”, thriving since 1917, looking forward and reaching higher to a wonderful future.

We hope that our full line-up of banking products and services make it easier for you to do business with us. We always welcome your thoughts and ideas. To our current customers, we are grateful for your loyal patronage. To all others, if you have not seen what Chippewa Valley Bank has to offer, take a look. You will be glad you did.

Sincerely,

Gary Gerber

President

NOTICE OF CHANGES IN TEMPORARY FDIC INSURANCE COVERAGE FOR TRANSACTION ACCOUNTS
All funds in a "noninterest-bearing transaction account" are insured in full by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation from December 31, 2010, through December 31, 2012. This temporary unlimited coverage is in addition to, and separate from, the coverage of at least $250,000 available to depositors under the FDIC's general deposit insurance rules. The term "noninterest-bearing transaction account" includes a traditional checking account or demand deposit account on which the insured depository institution pays no interest. It also includes Interest on Lawyers Trust Accounts ("IOLTAs"). It does not include other accounts, such as traditional checking or demand deposit accounts that may earn interest, NOW accounts and money-market deposit accounts. For more information about temporary FDIC insurance coverage of transaction accounts, visit www.fdic.gov.
